Coming from his home in Los Angeles, Mylets has been posting some beautifully chilled sounds recently. Rated as one of the best new guitarists in the world today from Total Guitar, He turns down the energy levels and presents the first of two new video’s which is nearly 10 minutes of pure ambient bliss. Although this is in a slightly different direction from his last album release, there are hints to this sound in his album Arizona with the track Homes.

The second video see’s Mylets sitting at the edge of this bed playing guitar. As he plays, he begins to loop and layer his sounds into a pleasurable journey, somewhat reminiscent of a summer haze. This video alone demonstrates the power of good music. It just goes to show that it doesn’t need to be dressed up, It’s just a man and his guitar.

And it with those two video’s Mylets show’s us what a true artist looks like and why we should be keeping an eye on him.
