Elizabeth and Gerard
I caught up with Elizabeth and Gerard during the Easter weekend. They decided to visit Shrove Beach and Inishowen Head as the location for their shoot, and it provided the perfect backdrop for their photos. Here's a little preview of their session.
New kid on the block.
Last week I caught up with Cat and James in London to finally meet the adorable Gracie after a few delays with the recent snowstorms. It was a flying visit but we had a mini photo session at their home in South-East London and got some lovely images.
Louise + Jason's Wedding at The Ballyliffin Lodge, Donegal
Shooting the first wedding of the year can take a little time to get back into the groove, But thankfully we had all the right elements working with us.
Headshot's with Padraig and Art Parkinson
Last week Art Parkinson and his brother Padraig were in the studio for some new headshots. These guys are always fun to photograph and are such professionals in front of the camera. I loved the banter between the brothers as we were going over the selects.
Phone Apps
So you've got to grips with instagram and you've adding filters to everything in your phone. Time to move up a level, and put your thumbs into over drive. The app world has become saturated with photo apps over the past few years, and with that there's a few that are taking the limelight and rightly so.
First Holy Communion
Bouncing onto the Blog this week we have Niamh and Rachel. Recently, Niamh celebrated her First Holy Communion and I spent sometime with her and the family photographing the special day. We done a few formal shots, and then the girls wanted to kick it up a notch, turning the guest bedroom into a trampoline.
Ryan's 1st Birthday
It was lovely to shoot for Kirstie and her son Ryan. We hung out as he explored the house and crawled his way around. Once in the studio he was always on the move and it was fun trying to keep up with him. We shot the session in a few different rooms, as I wanted to bring in different elements of lighting to the shoot.
Teresa & Brian
With Brian coming home from the Easter weekend we scheduled a pre-wedding shoot in the stunning area of Culdaff. It was lovely to meet up with Teresa and Brian, as we spent the time looking at different locations, going over a few directions for poses and getting to know each other more. I look forward to meeting up with them again in the summer for their wedding, knowing that the time spent today will help with capturing some fantastic portraits on the day.
