The Journey to
Photoblog of a trip to Lough Salt and Murder Hole Beach
Isle of Doagh, Inishowen, Donegal
With a recent wedding coming up I thought I would venture out to the Isle of Doagh to view the castle on the hill, as we didn't get to it on my last visit. I'm slightly embarrassed to say that this is the first time I've been out here, but I can truthfully say it won't be the last. Such a stunning location and loads of areas to photograph in. Here are a few images from the outing. You could say that this is off the beaten track, but the views from Carrickabraghy Castle and the coastal views of Malin Head are worth it, so if you're planning a wild Atlantic road trip make sure to check it out.
Earagail Arts Festival
Nice little surprise seeing my image make it's way onto the cover of the Earagail Arts Festival brochure while picking up a coffee today.
Gemma + Chris in Carrowmenagh, Donegal
Recently I caught up Gemma and Christopher in the beautiful Carrowmenagh Co.Donegal. Christopher had just surprised Gemma by flying home a day earlier from Australia for her birthday,
Faroe Islands — Day 2
The sun is slowly beginning to rise and with it, the town of Fuglafjørður begins to awake. All across the coastal hills, lights are being switched on, as the hills light up like a switchboard
Boston from a Height
Back in the fall of 2013, Myself and my cousin took a visit to the Sowa Open Market in Boston. This market is mixed with a collection of Art & Craft's stalls, A Farmers Market, enough Food Trucks to feed the city and if that wasn’t enough, you have vendors selling everything from Ice-cream to Dog treats. So there really is something for everyone here. I found the studio spaces where the artist's worked fascinating. Dotted along the corridors are some galleries and studios where you can walk in and purchase some wonderful one-off items.
Northern Lights March 6th
Last March I had planned a trip to Malin Head after hearing about a possible display of the Northern Lights and ended up coming back to Shrove Beach, as I looking to add something more to the image and I thought the Lighthouse would be perfect.
Faroe Islands. Day 1
When a place makes you turn around every few steps to take in your surroundings, you know you've found something special... well that, or you've walked into a dodgy alley.
Faroe Island update
Currently making my way home after a quick stop in the beautiful Faroe Island's. I've been posting a few images to my Instagram account over at MGPLIFE and will be making a few blog posts about the trip which took place over the past few weeks, so stay tuned.
Recently I've been uploading more images from my Autumn trip to Boston and New York. The image of New York below is moving towards my first 100 ❤️ on Instagram, and I'm working on trying to build an audience here.
